About the Kanji

What is “One Kanji”?

This is a way to hold your intention as a single character.
The more words we carry, the more the mind scatters.
One kanji becomes a quiet center—something you can return to, daily.

How we choose it

After your request, we ask by email for:

  • Your main theme (e.g., Love, Renewal, Courage, Harmony)

  • A short background (optional)

  • Keywords in English (if you have them)

Then we propose a few kanji options and explain the meaning, nuance, and differences in clear English.
You choose the final character.

Common themes

Love
Harmony
Courage
Clarity
Connection
Protection
New beginning
Fulfillment

One English theme can map to multiple kanji—your context decides what fits best.

How to use it

  • Place it where you’ll see it (desk, notebook, daily reminder)

  • Return to it when you feel scattered

  • Use it as a yearly compass for decisions

This is not “magic words.”
It’s a marker that helps you return to your center.

FAQ

Q. Where is the kanji written?
A. It depends on the package format (offering or a keepsake format). We confirm the final format in your email intake.

Q. What if I don’t read Japanese?
A. That’s fine. You can share your intention in English, and we’ll explain meanings and nuance in English.

Q. Is one character too simple?
A. It doesn’t reduce your story—it refines your focus. Your context remains yours; the kanji becomes your key back to it.
