FAQ
- Do I need to be religious?
- No. This does not require conversion. It is designed as a respectful ritual rooted in gratitude and reverence for nature, and we aim to avoid conflict with your beliefs.
- Can it work from a distance?
- What matters is not distance but how carefully intention is held and placed. Receiving it remotely can even help you integrate it directly into your everyday environment.
- How do we choose the kanji?
- You share your intention (e.g., Peace / Love / Renewal). We propose several options with meanings and nuances, then create the final piece after you choose.
- Which shrine/temple do you use?
- We do not disclose specific locations out of respect and to avoid disturbance, misunderstandings, or overcrowding. The ritual is carried out in Kyoto with careful adherence to appropriate etiquette.
- How long does delivery take?
- The ritual is scheduled on an auspicious day rather than immediately. Including preparation and shipping, the typical estimate is 2–3 weeks (varies by region).
- Can this be a gift?
- Yes. It’s often chosen for transitions—new work, endings, new beginnings. You can set the shipping address to the recipient.
