FAQ

Do I need to be religious?
No. This does not require conversion. It is designed as a respectful ritual rooted in gratitude and reverence for nature, and we aim to avoid conflict with your beliefs.
Can it work from a distance?
What matters is not distance but how carefully intention is held and placed. Receiving it remotely can even help you integrate it directly into your everyday environment.
How do we choose the kanji?
You share your intention (e.g., Peace / Love / Renewal). We propose several options with meanings and nuances, then create the final piece after you choose.
Which shrine/temple do you use?
We do not disclose specific locations out of respect and to avoid disturbance, misunderstandings, or overcrowding. The ritual is carried out in Kyoto with careful adherence to appropriate etiquette.
How long does delivery take?
The ritual is scheduled on an auspicious day rather than immediately. Including preparation and shipping, the typical estimate is 2–3 weeks (varies by region).
Can this be a gift?
Yes. It’s often chosen for transitions—new work, endings, new beginnings. You can set the shipping address to the recipient.
